2001 – Present Technology Coordinator

Bland Independent School District PO Box 216 Merit, TX 75458

Duties include: operations, provisioning, maintenance and administration of all district technology, staff training, webmaster, grant authoring and management. I also coordinate Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) student accounting and reporting procedures to state agencies.

 

2000–2001 Texas A&M University Commerce, TX Lecturer

I instructed pre-service teachers in ETEC 424, a required technology integration course in the teacher preparation program. The focus of the course was integration of technology into teaching and learning.  

1993 – 2000 Instructor Bland High School

Computer Applications Instructor for secondary students and adult learners.

Curriculum design and sequencing for secondary computer courses.

North East Texas Telementoring Exchange is an example of a project based learning curriculum initiative.

Texas H/S Completion and Success Grant 2004. – Grant focused on creation of online credit recovery curriculum.

Intel Model School   2003 – Grant provided funds for integration of CAD into the Agriculture Science curriculum.

TIF PS-2002-PS10C-6190   2002 – Grant supplied high school business computer lab with new equipment.

TIF PS-2001-SPT1C  2001  2001 - Grant focused upon adoption of laptop learning at high school.

TIF PS-2001-STA5S-4649   2001 - Grant focused on equipping elementary and middle school with technology.

High Schools that Work      1998 - Grant provided funds for school reform / staff development at high school.
